NEIL WINTERBAUER, PhD

Research Scientist
Neil received his BA from the University of Missouri - St Louis. After receiving both his MA and PhD from the University of California - Los Angeles, he joined the Bouton Lab at the University of Vermont as a postdoctoral fellow. He currently offers statistical consulting and general programing services by contract. Neil joined the lab part time in 2019.
DANIELLE FOURNIER, PhD

Research Scientist
Danielle received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Wheaton College (MA) and her PhD from Dartmouth College in the Program in Experimental and Molecular Medicine. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Psychological Science and a Research Scientist in the Todd Lab.
Neuroscience Graduate Student
Joe received both his BS and MS from the University of Vermont (UVM). Under the supervision of Dr. Wolfgang Dostmann and Dr. George Wellman, he conducted cellular and molecular pharmacological research on the dynamics of Protein Kinase G (PKG) and Cannabidiol (CBD), respectively. Joe is rotating in the lab during summer of 2022.

Graduate Student
Sam received her BS in Psychological Science from the University of Connecticut, where she worked with Dr. John Salamone. Sam's dissertation is focused on the behavioral and neural mechanisms of counterconditioning.
JAKE KAY
(he / him)
Neuroscience Graduate Student
Jake received his BS in Chemistry and BA in Neurobiology from UC Berkeley. He worked for 8 years at a major pharmaceutical company developing chromatographic methods for small molecules and novel drug delivery systems. He joined the Neuroscience Graduate Program at the University of Vermont to leverage his chemistry background in defining mechanisms of behavior, and is investigating the neurocircuitry of fear conditioning and stress through a collaboration between Dr. Jom Hammack's lab and the Todd lab.

Accelerated Master's Program
Emily is currently and undergraduate student-athlete at UVM, pursuing a B.S. in psychology, with minors in neuroscience and Italian.
Shae Weingart
Cellular, Molecular and Biomedical Sciences Graduate Student
Shae received her BS in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology and Toxicology from North Carolina State University. She is currently a third year PhD student at UVM.
